Schools and Parents

Safety

We want to be certain that school administrators and parents will be comfortable with the safety of the students.  The Krueger Foundation and Sentara Health hereby attest that our utmost concern is the health, safety and welfare of the students. Each of the individual schools will be required to supervise and protect the individual students according to these minimum standards:

• Safe transportation to and from offices and/or hospitals as needed.
• Youth protection training must be provided for all preceptors and/or supervisors.
• Confirmation that all participating students have completed the orientation and training program.
• Confirmation of parental permission for every student prior to participation.

Communication

Karen Richendollar, MSN, RN will be the point of contact so there is consistency in ensuring compliance with standards, and coordination of scheduling for the schools, preceptors, supervisors and students.
